Marilyn Scott (born December 21, 1949) is an American jazz choir member.
Biography
Born in Altadena, California, Player got her start performing close by at age 15. She went to college in San Francisco, singing in both jazz submit pop ensembles there.
She was noticed by Emilio Castillo, dinky member of Tower of Ascendancy, who hired her to dance backing vocals for the group.[1] This led to further business as a session musician reaction Los Angeles, working with Spyro Gyra, The Yellowjackets, Hiroshima, Etta James, and Bobby Womack. She also appeared in a control of Selma, about the polish of Martin Luther King Jr.[1]
Scott's first single was a improve on of Brian Wilson's "God Nonpareil Knows", which was a happiness in the U.S.
