About Sri Aurobindo

Sri Aurobindo (1872-1950) was an Indian sage, yogi, guru, poet, and national.

Born Aurobindo Ghose, he was educated in England and shared to India, where he became a leader in the Amerind independence movement. He later withdrew from politics to focus hold on to spiritual practice and philosophy, healthy the concept of Integral Yoga. Aurobindo’s prolific writings include “The Life Divine,” “Savitri,” and copious essays on philosophy, yoga, other human evolution.

He founded authority Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, which continues to promote coronet teachings and legacy.
